Why Choose Us
Training in Aikido provides the following benefits
Improved Fitness
Aikido involves a variety of movements that can help improve overall physical fitness, including strength, flexibility, and endurance. It also helps to develop better coordination and body awareness.
Stress Reduction
The fluid, flowing movements of aikido can be a great way to relieve stress and tension. The focus on breathing and mindfulness during training can also help to calm the mind and promote relaxation.
Increased Confidence
Aikido training can help to build confidence and self-esteem by providing a sense of accomplishment as students learn new techniques and progress in their training.
Self-Defense Skills
Training focuses on common attacks as well as multiple attack situations and weapons work. Students learn how to use an attacker's energy and momentum against them, rather than always relying on strength or aggression.
Improved Concentration
Aikido training requires concentration and focus in order to execute techniques correctly and effectively. This can help to improve focus and concentration in other areas of life as well.
Sense of Community
Aikido training is done in a group setting, which can help to build a sense of community and connection among students. This can provide a supportive and encouraging environment for personal growth and development.
